Most owners hire a GC and then discover, four months in, that the wrong questions never got asked. Construa Advisory exists for the decisions before a contract is signed and the disputes that show up after. We work as a Florida licensed general contractor with construction-management depth across residential, commercial, and mixed-use, but our advisory hat is fee-based and conflict-free: we don't bid the work we evaluate.

Where Construa Advisory delivers

• Pre-acquisition diligence — site walks, code-and-zoning gut checks, hard-cost reality testing, schedule plausibility, and a written recommendation before the contract is signed.
• GC selection & bid leveling — apples-to-apples comparison, qualifications review, gap-and-allowance audit, and reference verification so the low bid isn't the wrong bid.
• Dispute & stop-work support — change-order forensics, lien and notice review, schedule-impact analysis, and clear escalation paths when a job is sideways.
• Executive coaching for owners — one-on-one mentorship for first-time developers, family-office principals, and investor groups carrying construction risk for the first time.

How we engage

Advisory is sold as a fixed-fee opinion or a monthly retainer. Engagements typically start with a 90-minute working session, a documented scope, and a written deliverable — no open-ended hourly billing, no surprise pass-throughs. If the work later expands into project management or construction management, those are separate Construa engagements with their own contracts.
